Neal Mohan is an Indian-American technology executive who is currently the Chief Product Officer (CPO) at YouTube. In this role, Mohan leads the product management, user experience, and design teams responsible for YouTube’s core features, as well as new initiatives such as YouTube TV, YouTube Music, and YouTube Originals.
Mohan has an extensive background in technology and product management, having previously held executive positions at companies such as Google and DoubleClick (which was acquired by Google). He is known for his expertise in advertising technology and has been instrumental in the development of several advertising products, including AdSense, DoubleClick for Publishers, and Google AdWords.
Mohan has been recognized for his contributions to the technology industry, receiving awards such as the American Advertising Federation’s Advertising Industry Achievement Award and Business Insider’s list of the “Most Powerful People in Mobile Advertising.”
